Alberville Police Dept. - K9 Unit Demonstration

We read a story in our reading series titled, Tara and Tiree: Fearless Friends.  It is a story about two dogs who work together to save their owner.  As enrichment, we invite the Albertville Police Department's K-9 Unit to come talk to the students about the dogs who help them do their job.  The students always love this time and enjoy seeing the K-9 dogs in action.  They even get to see one of the officers pretend to be a "bad guy" so that the dog(s) can demonstrate how they help the officers apprehend criminals.
